Jameel Durrani, MD, is a pulmonologist who specializes in critical care medicine. He followed that with a fellowship in pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.|When he was just 4 years old, his father told him and his 3 brothers they would become doctors. “We are 4 doctors now, thanks to our parents’ tireless efforts and divine help,” Dr. Durrani says. “I will always be grateful to my parents for choosing a great profession for us to pursue and fall in love with.”|Originally from Pakistan, he relocated to the U.S. after medical school. “Pennsylvania always felt like home to us as a family and we feel truly blessed to make this beautiful state our home,” says Dr. Durrani.|In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, gardening, cricket and reading a good book.
