Dr. Jared Michalson

Dr. Jared Michalson is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in the surgical treatment of knee and hip arthritis as well as fractures throughout the body. Raised on a corn and soybean farm in northcentral Iowa, he brings a humble, community-centered approach to patient care. He tailors treatment—surgical or nonsurgical—to each individual injury to ensure optimal outcomes. He also completed fellowship training in joint replacement, with expertise in outpatient knee and hip replacement, anterior approach hip replacement, robotic-assisted knee replacement, and partial knee replacement. He performs complex revision surgeries for patients with painful or problematic joint replacements.
