Andrew W. Parker, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, joined Orthopedic Associates in 1992. Dr. Parker attended Northwestern University Medical School. He completed his internship and residency through Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago before completing a fellowship at Louisiana State University in knee and shoulder sports medicine. Dr. Parker was the head team physician and medical director for the Colorado Avalanche from 1995 through 2017. He also served as a consulting physician for the Denver Nuggets. During fellowship he received the Fellow’s Clinical Science Silver Award by the Wake Forest Division of Surgical Sciences for his research on nerve injuries.
