
Overview
David Freeman, MD, is a pediatric cardiologist and is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Freeman earned his medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine (now Drexel University) in 1986. He completed his residency in pediatrics and fellowship in pediatric cardiology at University Hospitals of Cleveland, Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital. Dr. Freeman joined UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute in 2022. His clinical interests include congenital heart disease, pediatric echocardiography, and having intellectual conversations with children in the office. In his spare time, Dr. Freeman enjoys playing the harmonica.
