Overview
Dr. J. Byers Bowen understands that plastic and reconstructive surgery is highly personal. Dr. Bowen spends time getting to know each of his patients to understand their unique needs and goals, and is dedicated to providing high quality care with exceptional results. At Galardi | Bowen Plastic Surgery, Dr. Bowen specializes in cosmetic surgery of the face, breast, and body, including body contouring following massive weight loss; breast reconstruction; and treatment and reconstruction of skin cancers. Dr. Bowen and his wife, Ann, live in Norfolk with their twins. When not in the operating room, Dr. Bowen enjoys spending time with his family, gardening, and wood-working. Dr. Bowen and his wife are members of First Presbyterian Church and supporters of the Team Drea Foundation – established by college friend Andrea Lytle Peet who was diagnosed with ALS at the age of 33 – as well as other causes local to Hampton Roads.
