Dr. Marla Greiner
Overview
Marla Greiner, MD joined The Iowa Clinic Urology department to be a part of a physician-led practice where she can focus on quality patient care. The variety that Urology offers -- like the range of procedures in clinic and treating men and women of all ages – is what drove Dr. Greiner to choose her specialty. She chose to focus her training on kidney stones as she finds the surgical treatment and medical prevention of stones rewarding. A California native, Dr. Greiner practiced there for several years before deciding to move closer to family in central Iowa. Outside of work, Dr. Greiner enjoys spending time with her husband and son, discovering new restaurants, exercising, skiing, and listening to podcasts and audiobooks. If she was not practicing medicine, she would have become an engineer.
