Overview
Justin Pavlovich, MD, is a board-certified otolaryngologist with more than 15 years of experience treating general ear, nose and throat (ENT) concerns.Dr. Pavlovich takes a whole-person approach to care, understanding the impact a person’s psychosocial and systemic health can have on their ENT symptoms. His goal is to listen carefully to his patients, to address each patient’s questions and concerns as fully as possible, and to devise a plan of care collaboratively so both he and his patient take ownership of the therapeutic plan for greater compliance and better results. Dr. Pavlovich tries to exhaust nonsurgical options before making surgical recommendations. He encourages his patients to communicate with him through MyChart, where they can review their results and actively participate in their treatment plan.From 2014 to 2025, Dr. Pavlovich was named a Portland “Top Doc” each year by Portland Monthly. He prides himself on being readily available to respond to pressing questions or urgent referrals.Away from work, Dr. Pavlovich enjoys adventure travel, cooking, riding his bike (often to work), skiing and gardening.

He graduated summa cum laude from Emory University where he also completed medical training and otolaryngology residency. He completed an extra year of subspecialty training in laryngology at the University of California, San Francisco and then practiced for four years at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. He has published multiple peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, serves as a peer-reviewer for top journals, and has been an invited national and international speaker for his field.He lives on the Eastside with his wife, their son, daughter, and basset hound, Pickles. Outside of medicine, he enjoys reading, golf, and following professional sports. He's a Kraken fan and optimistic the NBA will make a return to the Emerald City.
