Overview
I describe my practice style as caring and think of myself as a health coach and a partner to my patients in their health care. As an internist, I treat diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, anxiety, depression, stress management, insomnia, and many other conditions. I'm especially interested in preventative health care, working on getting my patients healthier and treating medical conditions with lifestyle changes, weight management, exercise, and nutrition. In some instances, my methods have allowed patients to improve their health to the point where prescription medications are no longer needed.

I was born in Jamaica, where I completed medical school. I did my Internship and residency at LSU/Louisiana and Cleveland Clinic/Akron General Hospital Ohio, respectively, then came to work in Ventura, where I have practiced for 15 years.
