Dr. Neil A. Christie

Neil A. Christie, MD, is an assistant professor of surgery in the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery and director of LIFE Bronchoscopy and Early Lung Cancer Detection Program. He specializes in select areas of thoracic surgery including minimally invasive thoracic surgery, antireflux surgery, fluorescent bronchoscopy, and thoracic stereotactic radiosurgery. Dr. Christie is board-certified in thoracic surgery. He received an undergraduate degree from Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario. He then completed a medical degree at the University of Toronto. Dr. Christie completed a residency in cardiothoracic surgery at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio, and a fellowship in minimally invasive thoracic surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Christie is a member of the Canadian Medical Association, American College of Surgeons, American Medical Association, and the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons.
