Grant Morris, MD, specializes in pediatric gastroenterology (GI) and liver conditions. He has experience treating inflammatory bowel disease, gastroesophageal reflux, constipation, abdominal pain, diarrhea and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.|He performs diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower endoscopies, including esophagogastroduodenoscopy (scope of the esophagus), colonoscopy and sigmoidoscopy (scope of the sigmoid colon).|“GI diseases can have a tremendous effect on a child’s (and their family’s) life,” says Dr. Morris. “My goal is to allow my patients and their families to live their best lives without limitation from GI issues.”|Beyond his own clinical interests — which include feeding difficulties, gastrostomy tubes, inflammatory bowel disease and liver disease — Dr. Morris engages his young patients by asking what they like. “I enjoy getting to know each child’s interests and hobbies,” he says.|This West Virginia native earned his Doctor of Medicine at the West Virginia University School of Medicine. He came to Danville when he served as chief pediatric resident at Geisinger Janet Weis Children’s Hospital.
