Overview
I chose to pursue family medicine and primary care when I realized that this allowed me the best opportunity to develop a relationship with my patients and to have a long term impact on their health and lives and in turn have them impact my life as well. I particularly enjoy working with my patients on developing and maintaining healthy lifestyles, though I also enjoying managing chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol, diabetes, and obesity. I like to work with my patients to come up with the best management options for them based on current data/best practices while also taking in to account their individual situation and beliefs. Outside of work I enjoy playing golf, exercising, traveling, and spending time with my family.
