She completed her undergraduate studies in biology and dance performance at Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland, and then went on to attain a doctor of podiatric medicine degree with honors at the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco in 1995.Before opening her current private practice in San Francisco, she provided patient care at numerous healthcare centers in the area including St. Mary's Hospital, UCSF Department of Orthopedics, UCSF Dance Clinic, and Kaiser Permanente.Her background as an award-winning dancer gives Dr. Knee special insight into the special health and medical needs of athletes.
