Overview
I have always been drawn to medicine, but I did not actively pursue it until my mother got sick. Due to the frequent visits to hospitals and doctor appointments, I realized how comfortable I felt in that setting. After she made a full recovery, I changed my major in college and decided to pursue medicine as a career. In medical school, I discovered I enjoyed all aspects of medicine: pediatrics, internal medicine, sports medicine, preventative care, etc. This is ultimately why I decided to pursue family medicine as my specialty. After building the tools necessary to provide up-to-date, compassionate, and exceptional care, I joined the Duke Health team to apply those skills to the community. I am incredibly grateful to help treat such a diverse and kind population.
