Overview
Andrea joined Tidewater Orthopaedics in 2017. She earned her undergraduate degree in biology at Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri. She completed her physician assistant studies at Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Growing up in Niger, Africa, Andrea was able to volunteer at a mission hospital and saw how different types of healthcare affect patients and their families. She was inspired by professionals who were honest, intelligent, and compassionate. With years of clinical and surgical orthopedic experience, Andrea can embody those characteristics, along with her own skills, energy, and passion, in her work today.
In her spare time, Andrea enjoys spending time with her husband, David, and their pug, Cutie. She also loves soccer and played tennis throughout high school and college. She spent 20 years in Niger and speaks three languages: English, French, and Hausa.
