Our ladies, who span a wide age range, are generally active and want to stay this way -- without a pelvic floor disorder weighing them down. The services and treatment options that we provide are innovative and I strive to tailor my recommendations to fit the woman in front of me -- her lifestyle, her activity level and her concerns. I am originally from Miami and moved north for the sole purpose of joining this wonderful urogynecology practice. The physicians, nursing staff, and administrative staff that I have the fortune of working with are a dynamic group who shares the common goal of providing professional and patient-focused care. I am energetic and love the performing arts, so I try to spend any free time dancing and enjoying the theater. For most pelvic floor disorders – bladder, bowel, sexual dysfunction, or vaginal bulge – there are usually multiple treatment options with different pros and cons. Because each woman is different, I tend to teach each patient about her own pelvic floor issues, and then we collaborate to develop a treatment plan that incorporates her specific goals. I am actively involved in research because I think that is the way that we will develop better treatment options for women.
