Dr. Heydinger has extensive training in diagnostics, including interventional ultrasound, percutaneous tenotomy, chronic exertional compartment syndrome testing, concussion diagnosis and management, and care for fractured bones.Board-certified in family medicine and sports medicine, Dr. Heydinger received his medical degree in osteopathic medicine from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. He went on to pursue his residency at University Hospital St. John Medical Center where he was awarded intern of the year and served as chief resident. He completed his primary care sports medicine fellowship at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center.Serving as the team physician for numerous high schools and universities, Dr. Heydinger has also presented regularly on a wide range of orthopedic topics at national conferences.
