Mary Lane, M.D., obtained a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry from Georgia Institute of Technology. She received a medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Ga. Dr. Lane completed a residency in internal medicine at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians Group, Dr. Lane practiced at the MetroHealth Beachwood Health Center and served as an assistant professor at Case Western Reserve University School for Medicine. She is board certified in internal medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians. In her spare time, Dr. Lane enjoys hiking, running, and spending time with her family. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians, Dr. McGill worked as a general and Bariatric surgeon at Buckhead Surgical Associates, and was involved in bringing Bariatric surgical services to Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.Dr. McGill is Director of Bariatric Surgery at Piedmon tAtlanta Hospital, Member of Credentials Committee at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital, and an active member of multiple surgical societies: American College of Surgeons, American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeons, Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, and American Hernia Society.In his spare time, Dr. McGill enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.
