Dr. Shams S. Nandwani

Dr. Shams Nandwani has been a pediatrician for over 37 years serving the North part of the Houston community as a Texas Childrens Pediatrics Associates Physician (TCPA) for over 9 years before opening his own practice. Dr. Nandwani did his pediatric residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry, New Jersey, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. He did two years of fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan. He has been Board Certified since 1999. Dr. Nandwani is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, member of the Harris County Medical Society as well as the Texas Medical Association. Dr. Nandwani’s specializes in newborn care, asthma, allergy, ADHD, blood disorders and general pediatric care. We offer immunizations for all age groups including flu vaccines in fall. Dr. Nandwani also offers health guidance for travel abroad especially to developing countries. Dr. Nandwani is primarily officed at our Spring location but will occasionally float to the other offices. In his spare time, Dr. Nandwani enjoys traveling, spending time with his family, and the great outdoors.
