
Overview
Dr. Christian Carr has been a board-certified general surgeon in North Texas since 2002. His areas of clinical interest and focus include surgical treatment of issues involving the thyroid and parathyroid glands, laparoscopic and robotic surgery for intestinal problems and hernias, and surgical removal of skin cancers. Dr. Carr has sat on numerous committees in the field of surgery and currently serves as an assistant professor in the Department of Surgery for Texas Christian University/University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth.Dr. Carr earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He remained in Houston to complete his general surgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine before relocating to Dallas-Fort Worth. Dr. Carr is a Diplomat of the American Board of Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons and the Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract. Outside the office, Dr. Carr enjoys spending time with his family, golfing and skiing.
