Overview
Esther Wallach, M.D. is board certified in Internal Medicine. She was born in California and grew up in the Netherlands, where she received her medical degree from The University of Amsterdam. She went on to complete her internal medicine residency at Piedmont Athens Regional. Prior to joining the practice, Dr. Wallach was Medical Director of the Community Care Clinic and a core faculty member for the internal medicine residency program.

In her spare time, Dr. Wallach enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two sons.

Dr. Barrera earned her osteopathic medical degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She then completed a general internship at Broward General Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, and internal medicine residency at Cleveland Clinic Florida, Weston, Florida and Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachuetts. She is board certified in internal medicine, and is a Certified Menopause Practitioner through the North American Menopause Society. Dr. Barrera has practiced in both hospital and outpatient settings. Her interests are primary care, preventive health, women's health, osteopathic manipulative treatment, end-of-life care, and helping patients achieve overall wellness throughout adult life. Truman Scholar in 1997 while attending the University of Georgia. He was also chosen one of UGA's 40 Under 40 outstanding alumni in 2013. He and his wife, Julie, were members of the 2016 Class of Leadership Georgia. Dr. Lucas has served on the Leadership Georgia Board of Trustees since 2018. The also serves on the Board of Directors of his home Methodist church.In his spare time, Dr. Lucas enjoys traveling and spending time with his family. He also teaches youth Sunday School and has coached his son and daughter in various youth sports. He also enjoys painting, horseback riding, hunting, fishing, and playing golf.
