Dr. Schmidt also served as an associate team physician for the Atlanta Falcons. In addition, he continues his relationship as team physician for Union Grove High School and Strong Rock Christian School. Dr. Schmidt is a past Chief of Medical Staff at Piedmont Henry Hospital. He is on the board of the Georgia Orthopedic Society, and is a past president. He is also on the Board of Counselors of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS) and serves on the governing board of Piedmont Henry Hospital.
