Dr. Jared M. Bratvold

Jared Bratvold, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon who specializes in acute care surgery at Intermountain Health's McKay-Dee Hospital. He supports patients in Ogden and Northern Utah, performing a wide range of general surgical operations. He is passionate about helping patients in urgent need and is dedicated to providing high-quality care every time.�

Dr. Bratvold began his medical journey with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Dakota � College of Nursing before earning his Medical Doctorate from the University of North Dakota � School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He completed his surgical residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, where he developed a strong foundation in emergency and general surgical care.�

Originally from Northern Minnesota, Dr. Bratvold has lived in Texas and Tennessee, bringing a broad perspective to his practice. Outside of surgery, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, fishing, hunting, skiing, SCUBA diving, and traveling.
