Through her role as a faculty member with the TCU Burnett School of Medicine, Dr. Washington was recognized in 2024 with the Gachman Endowed Faculty Excellence Award. She is a member of the American College of Surgeons, Americas Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association, American Pancreatic Association, Association of Women Surgeons, International Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association, Society of Surgical Oncology and Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract.
