Dr. Scholz strives to minimize postoperative pain for children using minimally invasive surgical techniques in combination with the latest regional anesthesia methods. He focuses on new innovations in pediatric surgery as well as ultrasound-guided interventional techniques for children. He is co-principal investigator of several NIH-funded research projects and has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals as well as book chapters.
