"Philosophy of care | To me, medicine is combining faith and evidence-based knowledge to prevent and treat illness, while encouraging an atmosphere of shared clinical decision-making. Involving you in your care allows you to engage and play an active role in your health. | Why I entered medicine | I grew up watching my dad, a physician, make such a difference in each of his patient's lives. Since I was a child, I knew how fulfilling and exciting a job in medicine can be. Every day I get to wake up, meet new people, and help each patient be the best and healthiest version of themselves. | Community involvement | My husband and I started a non-profit organization called ""Mission on Fire,"" which focuses on the core tenets of medicine, mission work and marriage. We hope to use our faith and skills in medicine to bring hope and healing all around the world though mission work. | Personal interests | I love cooking, playing tennis, traveling and spending time with my husband and family.".
