Dr. Samy Dhurairaj

Samy Dhurairaj, MD, is a fellowship-trained interventional and diagnostic radiologist specialist with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG) Radiology at Hackettstown. Board-certified in interventional radiology and diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology, he has more than 20 years of clinical expertise performing diagnostic imaging and 13 years of expertise in performing image-guided minimally invasive procedures.Dr. Dhurairaj earned his medical degree at Coimbatore Medical College in India. He earned a master’s degree in diagnostic radiology from Madras Medical College. He came to the U.S. and completed his nuclear medicine residency at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, and also received pediatric nuclear medicine training at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Dhurairaj then performed his interventional radioogy fellowship at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, where he served as an assistant professor in the Department of Radiology teaching fellows and residents, clinical instructor and body imaging fellow, and finally serving as chief resident. He was chief of the division of interventional radiology at Reading Hospital, PA, before joining Atlantic Medical Group.The author of multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals, Dr. Dhurairaj is a member of the Radiology Society of North America, Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe, American College of Radiology, American Medical Association and the American College of Healthcare Executives. He is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
