His father, Dr. John Kroes, was a beloved physician who for decades provided a deeply personal style of health care to local families. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Society for Nutrition, and holds admitting privileges at Stanford, El Camino, and Sequoia Hospitals, and at the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital. He also lectures at the Stanford University School of Medicine.In his nearly two decades of service in family practice, Dr. Kroes has seen his patients grow from children to teenagers, and from teenagers to adults with families of their own. He has cared for newborns in their first days of life and for our community elders in their final years.
