Overview
Timothy W. Dancy, MD, is a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. He completed his family practice residency at UPMC Shadyside and his fellowship in primary care sports medicine at UPMC Sports Medicine. Dr. Dancy’s research emphases include athletic hip and groin pain, posttraumatic shoulder pain, the acromioclavicular joint, nutrition and health, sports recovery science, and injury prevention. He is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh and has board certifications in family medicine, functional medicine, and sports medicine.
