"Lawrence Richard Glassman, MD, is a board-certified thoracic surgeon and chief of cardiovascular and thoracic surgery at Northwell's North Shore University Hospital. Dr. Glassman began his career with a residency in general surgery at the University of Minnesota and NYU.
