
Overview
Angela DeRobertis, MD, is a radiation oncologist with UPMC Hillman Cancer Center. She is certified in radiation oncology by the American Board of Radiology. Dr. DeRobertis received her medical degree from the Jefferson Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University and completed her residencies in radiation oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center and The University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. DeRobertis’ clinical interests include external beam radiation, intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), brachytherapy and stereotactic radiation (SRS/ SBRT) for breast, gynecologic, gastrointestinal and lung cancers. She has numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and is a member of the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology.

Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center
Dr. Kleinberg specializes in the radiation treatments, including stereotactic radiosurgery, of brain and spinal tumors. Areas of research include both tumors arising in the central nervous system and tumors metastasizing from other locations. He also specializes in the treatment of esophageal tumors and has led national clinical trials in both therapy of brain tumors as well as esophageal cancer. Dr. Kleinberg has been recently named in the US News and World Report list of top 1% of doctors in his specialty. He is the co-chair of the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group Brain Tumor Working Group, Vice-Chair of the NCI Cooperative Group Steering Committee for Esophageal and Gastric Tumors, and is a member of the NCI Cooperative Group Steering Committee for Gastrointestinal Tumors. She received her undergraduate degree from Princeton University where she graduated magna cum laude with a focus in neuro-psychology. She attended medical school and obtained a Masters in Public Health in health systems management at Tulane University where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society as well as the Gold Humanism in Medicine Honor Society. Dr. Redmonds research interest focuses on the development of novel radiation techniques and therapeutic agents to treat brain and spine tumors in order to increase tumor control and overall survival. In addition, she is working to develop innovative approaches to try to limit long term toxicities and minimize neuro-cognitive dysfunction following treatment for tumors of the central nervous system. Dr. Redmond believes in a holistic approach to medicine and feels that the social and psychological components of patient care are equally important to traditional therapies.
