Dr. Alan N. Carlson
Overview
I provide medical oversight for comprehensive patients and established cornea patients. Preserving and restoring vision is my passion, and it is a commitment I make to all of my patients. Duke uses the most current technologies and innovations to deliver the latest in care. It gives patients great confidence to know they are being treated by leaders in their field who use a team approach. I came back to Duke in 1996 after earning my medical degree here in 1981. In my spare time, I enjoy playing guitar, reading and traveling.
