I consider myself a bit of a medical detective and enjoy using my detail-oriented nature to get to the bottom of a patient's health concern. | Why I entered medicine | I entered medicine to care for patients the way I would want my own family members cared for – with compassion, respect and giving 100% of my expertise to each person. Pediatrics particularly drew me to it. I see each child as full of beautiful potential, so focusing on disease prevention early in life resonated with my values. | Community involvement | My volunteerism has included Mary's Shelter, Allentown Bethlehem Catholic Young Adults, Meals on Wheels and a 2009 medical mission trip to Haiti. | Personal interests | I enjoy gardening, music and crocheting, as well as spending time with my husband, friends and my many nieces and nephews.
