Dr. Winkler is a skilled surgeon and performs pelvic reconstructive procedures laparoscopically/robotically, abdominally, and vaginally. This ability to perform pelvic floor reconstructive procedures through various routes allows Dr. Winkler the ability to individually tailor treatment options for each patientDr. Winkler is a mentor and trains medical students, residents and fellows and was awarded the APGO Excellence in Teaching Award for Excellence in Resident Education in June of 2012.
