Overview
Dr. Douglass is board certified in internal medicine and has been practicing medicine since 1995. He is currently serving on the Piedmont Atlanta Hospital Board. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians, he was in private practice at Peachtree Internal Medicine and served as the Chief of Service and Chairman for the Department of Medicine at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. Dr. Douglass has a special interest in hypertension. In his free time, Dr. Douglass enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. Dr. Peters obtained his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine, graduating magna cum laude. While at medical school, Dr. Peters was the recipient of the Sonny Carter Scholarship, a merit scholarship based on academics and athletics. Dr. Peters completed a residency in internal medicine at Emory University and was Chief Resident in Medicine at Emory University Hospital. Dr. Peters is board certified in internal medicine. Dr. Peters believes in partnering with patients in order to provide better care and achieve improved health outcomes. He takes a special interest in preventive care.
