Overview
My decision to pursue a career in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation began in medical school. I was attracted to the specialty because of its focus on return to function and management of pain. My current position allows me to treat patients with these goals in mind. I focus on the non-operative management of spine and other musculoskeletal conditions. My aim is to utilize conservative measures in order to decrease pain, enhance and restore functional ability and improve quality of life. I perform procedures including cervical and lumbar epidural steroid injections, facet joint injections, medial branch radiofrequency neurotomy, sacroiliac joint injections and other large joint injections. I am also specialty-trained in performing electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies (NCS).
