Dr. Tamara J. Battle

Dr. Trout, a SLO native, attended medical school at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans and completed her Pediatric Residency at Seattle Children’s Hospital. After a decade away from the Central Coast, she is delighted to return home to serve the local community and raise her children surrounded by family and friends. As a pediatrician, Dr. Trout finds joy in providing care through every stage of a child’s development, from newborn to adolescent. She loves forming bonds with patients and their caregivers over time, and values working collaboratively with families to help children thrive. She has experience with a wide range of health conditions and provides comprehensive and compassionate care with clear communication. With her husband and two sons, Dr. Trout enjoys exploring the outdoors, weekend trips, and backyard bird watching.
