Ashley A. Campbell M.D., is an associate professor in the division of oculoplastics at the Wilmer Eye Institute, Johns Hopkins Medicine. After receiving her medical degree at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, she completed her ophthalmology residency at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary (Harvard Medical School). She then completed additional specialty training as an American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) fellow at Columbia, Cornell, New York University, and Manhattan Eye Ear and Throat Hospital. Fatemeh Rajaii, M.D., Ph.D., is an associate professor of ophthalmology at the Wilmer Eye Institute, Johns Hopkins Medicine. Dr. Rajaii specializes in reconstructive and cosmetic eyelid, orbital and facial surgery. This includes the surgical treatment of eyelid malpositions, facial skin cancers, tear drainage issues, orbital tumors and Thyroid Eye Disease. She treats children and adults. Dr. Rajaii's research interests include the effects of eyelid surgery on ocular surface disease and visual function, oculoplastic surgical techniques and mechanisms underlying orbital disease. Dr. Rajaii received her M.D. and Ph.D. (neuroscience) degrees from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She completed an internship in internal medicine at Mercy Medical Center prior to completing her ophthalmology residency at the Wilmer Eye Institute. She completed a fellowship in ophthalmic plastic, orbital and facial cosmetic surgery at the University of Michigan prior to joining the Wilmer faculty. Eyelid surgeries include surgeries for drooping eyelids, extra eyelid skin and heavy eyebrows for both functionally reconstructive and cosmetic reasons. Dr. Mahoney received his M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania and completed his ophthalmology residency at the Scheie Eye Institute, Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He then completed additional specialty training as an American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) fellow at the Wilmer Eye Institute and Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Mahoney joined the Wilmer faculty in 2012. He has held various administrative responsibilities and is currently the Vice Chair of Information Technology & Data Science for the Department of Ophthalmology.
