Dr. Lisa D. Stevens
Overview
Dr. Lisa Stevens joined the Gastrointestinal Group of North Jersey in 2000 after completing her training at a number of prestigious NY hospitals. Her practice treats all general gastroenterology issues, including esophageal disease, irritable bowel syndrome, anorectal disorders, liver disease, and colon cancer screening. Throughout her time, she’s come to understand that decisions about health care are a collaboration between patient and physician. This piece is what pushes Dr. Steven’s to integrate each person's cultural and health beliefs into the treatment process.When not at work, Dr. Stevens enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her husband and daughters. She is an ardent supporter of both the fine arts and the performing arts. Among her many activities she’s also involved in a mentoring program at William Paterson University to encourage young women to pursue careers in medicine.
