Overview
Kristen Parker Broderick is an associate professor in the Johns Hopkins Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Her areas of clinical expertise include microsurgery, breast reconstruction, body contouring and cosmetic plastic surgery. Her research interests include breast reconstruction outcomes, breast surgery aesthetics, and plastic surgery education. Dr. Broderick received her undergraduate degree in chemical engineering from Rice University in Houston, TX. She earned her medical degree from Texas A&M University’s Health Science Center College of Medicine. She completed a residency in general surgery at UNC Hospitals, and in plastic and reconstructive surgery at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. She performed a fellowship in surgical critical care at UNC Hospitals and in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Washington University. Dr. Broderick joined the Johns Hopkins faculty in 2016. Dr. Broderick is consistently recognized as a Top Doctor by Baltimore Magazine and is a journal reviewer for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. She is the Director of Breast Reconstruction at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
