Whitney L. Clearwater, MD, MPH, FACOG, is Associate Program Director, Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at Montefiore Einstein and Assistant Professor, Urology and Obstetrics & Gynecology and Women’s Health at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She is an active member of the Society of Urodynamics, Female Pelvic Medicine and Urogenital Reconstruction (SUFU). She is also focused on medical education and was urology residency program director from 2020-2025 and chair of the MD curriculum committee from 2022-2025. She now serves as Vice Chair of the urology department. She has over 65 peer-reviewed publications and has been funded by research grants from the Department of Defense and SUFU. She specializes in treating urinary incontinence, vaginal prolapse, urethral reconstruction, urinary fistula, mesh complications, and more, using robotic, open, or vaginal approaches depending on what is best suited for her patients.
