That led me to meeting some EMS personnel, who inspired me to volunteer for Cetronia’s ambulance corps. The amazing work they do in saving people’s lives, I knew that was for me. That blossomed into a career in medicine. | Community involvement | I donate regularly to Goodwill and to American Family Services. I used to be very active working at soup kitchens, but due to scheduling conflicts, I haven't been able to participate over the last few years. I do plan to volunteer again at soup kitchens. | Personal interests | I’m trying to get back to the gym. I see Apollo Ohno skating on TV and think maybe ... then I remember my knees are so shot from all the crazy stuff I did in my speedskating days. I’d just like to get into running or something else regularly again. I also love being with family and friends, and I love the Lehighton area, all the winding roads and beautiful country here.
