Our total approach emphasizes preventive care, proper diet, fitness, immunizations, as well as care of acute and chronic illness. | Why I entered medicine | As a child I was surrounded by medical professionals, so it seemed natural that I should follow the same career path. Choosing to be a pediatrician was easy. Working with children and their parents in both sickness and in health is emotionally rewarding. A mutual trust between doctor and family develops and lasts until our patients have become young adults. | Community involvement | Since coming to Allentown in 1989, I have always been actively involved with numerous activities within the various schools my children have attended. Presently, I am working on the Parkland High School post-prom committee. This event provides a safe, drug-free and fun environment for the students after their prom. It is run by volunteers and generous donations from the community. | Personal interests | I love reading in my leisure time, and I belong to a local fitness club. When our youngest son left for college, I decided to call his piano teacher, and have been taking classical piano lessons for the last 8 years.
