Dr. Aaron Miller is a pediatric infectious disease specialist who treats infants, children, and adolescents on an inpatient and outpatient basis. He specializes in treating a wide range of infections caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites, including bone and joint infections; complicated pneumonia; sepsis or bloodstream infections; congenital infections in newborns; recurrent strep throat; persistent or recurrent fevers; tick-borne infections; histoplasmosis; recurrent skin infections; infections associated with a bone marrow or solid organ transplant; and antibiotic-resistant bacteria infections. Dr. Miller's research interests include congenital and neonatal infections. He is also interested in infection prevention for children who are traveling abroad. Dr. Miller is a professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Saint Louis University School of Medicine and the division director of Pediatric Infectious Diseases. He serves on multiple national committees as part of the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society and is the medical director of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program.
