Overview
Dr. Aaron Dahmen earned his bachelor's degree from Middle Tennessee State University before completing his medical education at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, graduating with high honors. He then completed his internship and residency training at the University of South Florida before completing a fellowship in urologic oncology at the University of Chicago.Dr. Dahmen's practice focuses on the surgical treatment of all genitourinary malignancies. He has extensive training in both minimally invasive and open approaches for the treatment of bladder, prostate, kidney, testicular, and penile cancers. Additionally, he specializes in robotic and laparoscopic surgery for benign urologic diseases.His research interests lie in identifying and improving the outcomes of oncology patients and participating in clinical trials to advance the study of how we treat cancer and can individualize patient care to ensure the best outcomes from both an oncologic and quality of life standpoint.
