Overview
Dr. Zakari graduated from medical school in 1995. He practiced as a primary care physician for several years, including 2 years in missionary work. He then pursued further training at the Cleveland Clinic, where he completed his internship and then residency in Anesthesiology. He finished his fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic, where he was trained by world renown leaders in Pain Medicine. During his training, he served as the chief fellow.
With expertise in performing the most advanced and complex procedures in interventional pain management, Dr. Zakari holds triple board certification from the American Board of Anesthesiology, with a subspecialty certification in Pain Medicine, and from the American Board of Pain Medicine.
