Overview
Adela Germano, MD, is a family medicine doctor who sees children and adults of all ages. “I see patients ages 0 to 100 years old — because in family medicine, all are welcome,” she says. Dr. Germano treats conditions including heart disease, high blood pressure, depression and anxiety. Dr. Germano adds, “She inspired me to become a doctor because I could tell she loved helping people in big and small ways.”|After earning her bachelor’s degree in communication and Spanish from the University of Indianapolis, Dr. Germano pursued her medical degree from Poznan University of Medical Sciences in Poznan, Poland. She completed her residency with Penn State Health Family Medicine at Mount Nittany Medical Center.|Dr. Germano was born in Brazil and speaks both English and Spanish. In her free time, this new mom loves caring for her baby girl, hiking with her husky and watching TV and movies.
