Overview
I currently practice general urology in the HealthPartners Specialty Center and assist surgeons with urologic procedures in the operating room. I have a special interest in voiding dysfunction, kidney stones and the treatment of urologic cancers. As a physician assistant, I enjoy working closely with my patients to ensure they receive the highest quality care. I know each person is an individual and, therefore, treatments must be designed with each person's primary goals in mind. I try to use shared decision-making whenever possible. I completed my master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Des Moines University. Before joining the HealthPartners urology department, I worked in family practice and public health in Des Moines.
