Dr. Norcott received her medical degree from Joan C. Edwards Marshall University School of Medicine in 2013. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Yale-New Haven Health in 2016 and served as the Veterans Affairs Hospital Chief Resident for Quality and Safety from 2016-2017. She completed her clinical fellowship in geriatrics at the University of Michigan in 2018 and a research fellowship at the Ann Arbor VA in 2021. She currently a T-32 research fellow at the University of Michigan and runs our Brain Health for Aging with Independence (BRAIN) cognitive evaluation clinic. Her research focuses on improving transitions of care for older adults with cognitive impairment who are undergoing a complex, elective surgery.
