Dr. Alyssa M. Anderson

As a gastroenterologist, I am trained to diagnose and treat diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, including the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon and rectum, pancreas, gallbladder, bile ducts and liver. I particularly enjoy the variety in gastroenterology as a specialty – each patient and day is unique. I have the opportunity to develop longitudinal relationships with patients and their families in the clinic setting, perform procedures and consult on complex patients admitted to the hospital. I believe in shared decision making between patients and their care team centered on each individual’s values and evidence-based medicine.

Her clinical expertise encompasses Familial Adenomatous Polyposis, Celiac Disease, Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), Endoscopy, and Gastrectomy.

Dr. Anderson is board certified in American Board Of Internal Medicine and American Board Of Internal Medicine-Gastroenterology. She is actively involved in clinical research, co-authoring 1 peer reviewed article. Dr. Anderson is currently accepting new patients.
