Working as a team and collaborating with patients to ensure the medical treatment plan aligns with their healthcare goals is what I like best about my job.Patients and families facing very serious or lifelimiting illnesses may feel overwhelmed. I focus on helping them navigate the healthcare system, resource mobilization and support networks and ensure their symptoms are wellmanaged.I have worked exclusively in palliative care since completing my fellowship in 2010, and treat patients of any age, with any type of lifethreatening or lifelimiting illness who need additional holistic support.
